Internship Description
Assist in executing transactions by conducting in-depth research on a range of companies to provide informed recommendations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Start analyzing industries, trends and indicators. Prepare in-depth financial analysis and related articles, based on industry analysis, trends and indicators
- Identify the drivers and dynamics of the industry in question, understand the assigned company at an operational and financial level, research all relevant information – and build a financial model that accurately captures the dynamics of the company, using all basic assumptions to project its future financial performance
- Prepare all required memos, analyses, and any materials required for presentations, teasers, and information memos.
- Identify and compile information about similar companies (research reports, financial statements, etc.).
- Assist in reviewing all legal documents in cooperation with the company’s legal advisor.
- Assist in completing due diligence, reviewing the offering memorandum, communicating with the syndicate group and/or stakeholders, and ensuring all internal and external activities are carried out to close the deal.
Internship Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, along with strong knowledge in finance (preferably having completed a credit course).
- 0-2 years of experience in corporate finance or corporate banking.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Strong writing and spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
- Able to build partnerships and work well in teams.
- Can identify issues and refer/escalate complex issues to a higher level.
- Detail oriented. Ensuring that deliverables are always of high quality.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Multi-tasker, with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects and meet changing deadlines.
