Internship Description

Act as account manager to B2C teams and manage consumer services projects from initial to launch

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage product and services development projects from concept initiation till commercial availability
  • Complete the launch of a product or a service within the allocated budget and time, and complying with the company's strategy and quality standards
  • Carry out and implement the five project management phases; Initiation, Planning, Execution, Controlling, and Closing.
  • Adopt the company's Project Management methodology and techniques to manage the nine knowledge areas of Project Management.
  • Hold project team meetings and Steering Committees with proper documentation of meeting minutes and thorough follow up of action items.
  • Lead heavy and light-weight teams including members from the company's various functions such as, Development, Finance, Customer Service, and Marketing, ensuring the tasks and roles of each member are clearly identified, planned and implemented.
  • Review and approve project business cases with both Marketing and Finance to ensure adherence to the company's yearly objectives and KPIs
  • Oversee User Acceptance Testing as a final stage before authorizing new projects for commercial launch.

Internship Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
  • Great educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
